African wild dogs – also known as painted dogs due to their exquisitely patterned coats – are among the most 'effective predators in the world'. The mere sight of a pack of wild dogs can instill panic in their prey. 'They use extraordinary cooperation and teamwork' to pursue, overhaul and bring down their target.​
The Hummingbird – on the other hand is so fascinating as a survivor and an excellent achiever for a multitude of reasons. Number 1, they need to eat almost constantly, maintaining blood sugar levels high enough to cause serious disease in human. To process that high volume of sugar, hummingbirds have evolved a metabolism 77 times faster than a human's, made possible by hyper efficient enzymes. for many reasons. Similar to the African spotted dog, it has no choice but to keep moving or perish because of its metabolism is so fast that if it fails to go out and make a living the way they do it will die.
